Following the success from the 2006 products and shops, we - the Höfer Frauen, Kathrin Böhm and Angelika Seeschaaf - started on a second round of Höfer Goods. We arrived attwo new products to do with doilies:
A Doily Bag and a Jarlamp.

The shop format was similar to the one from the previous year: a table with all our goods in the community hall, but this time accompanied by a display of special objects collected from across the village households, and including taylor made aprons, old ceramic jars, two spinning wheels, butter making equipment, etc.
Wapke Feenstra came again all the way from Rotterdam with her blue car with yellow number plates,to stress the international aspects of the whole venture.

The Shop was sold out (again), including the lamps which were (due to the high tech bulbs) rather expensive.

By now it was clearthat our shop would be in the village hall, and that the village fete church service would take place in the street in front of the chapel - unless it wasraining cats and dogs. So in a funny way the shop was a very good excuse for those who want the service in the street to keep it there (reclaim the village road old style).
