The International Village Shop is a growing trans-local network of cultural producers who set up trading places for goods with strong local connections.

The shop consists of many different shops across rural and urban settings. The individual shop can be permanent or temporary. Forms of trade and currencies are set by each shopkeeper.

All products are local, with the difference that some products travel across the different shops. The travelling products are often results from collective and cross-cultural productions.

As part of the Grow It Yourself exhibition at PAV in Turin, Myvillages has been running an temporray shop with the latest shop classics - trading from a structure that is painted in Maria-from-Zvizzchi's favourite green.

Wapke Feenstra with a group from PAV and local artists are currently developing and building a more permanent shop for the PAV - to open in May 2016.
