The International Village Shop is a growing trans-local network of cultural producers who set up trading places for goods with strong local connections.

The shop consists of many different shops across rural and urban settings. The individual shop can be permanent or temporary. Forms of trade and currencies are set by each shopkeeper.

The Shop in Boxberg was open on the occasion of the opening of ÜBER TAGE_09 - art projects for the Lusatian Lake Distric in the South East of Germany. Antje and Thomas presented the Linseed Oil Cooling Tower which was developped in Boxberg as part of the ÜBER TAGE.
