The International Village Shop is a growing trans-local network
of cultural producers who set up trading places for goods with
strong local connections.
The shop consists of many different shops across rural and urban
settings. The individual shop can be permanent or temporary. Forms
of trade and currencies are set by each shopkeeper.
All products are local, with the difference that some products
travel across the different shops. The travelling products are
often results from collective and cross-cultural productions.
