As part of Karen Guthrie & Nina Pope's solo
exhibition 'Past, Present,
Somewhere' this small shop will be open for the sale of goods
during the exhibition.
The 'Honesty
Table' is a low, Japanese-style square table with space for 6
products, surrounded by floor cushions. Cash is paid through slots
directly in the table and buyers choose and purchase the products
without staff assistance. There are guide prices.
TO CONTRIBUTE GOODS (e.g produce, preserves,
small craft items etc) to the Table please get in touch with the
artists. We don't have too many rules - just the common sense
ones: items should be handmade, as local as possible, and not too
perishable (veg is fine, just the longer-lasting ones). Supplies
can be as limited as you like - so if you have some spare cabbages
or 3 too many jars of jam then feel free to bring them in. The
Table is small, so nothing too massive either please.
Please note that you will be expected to bring the items to
the gallery and liaise with gallery staff to collect income in
normal opening hours (Tues. - Sunday 11.30-17.00)
