The cloths have been made for the Vorratskammer (Pantry)
prject by myvillages.org in Berlin in 2011.
It is made at the Audax Textile Museum in Tilburg, where you can
have your own designs produced by the roll.
The loom is 1.65 m wide and the weft thread that we’ve chosen is
34/1 3003 – a brilliant red.
The text says “Es gibt was da ist” (“What’s there, is there”)
Für das Vorratskammer Projekt von myvillages.org in Berlin wurden Tücher gewebt, rot weiss kariert, und der versetze Schriftzug sagt "Es gibt was da ist".
